Engineers have everything to do with cars!

Mechanical engineers design the engine, suspension, drive-train, brakes, Everything!

Electronic engineers design the ECU (the brain of the car), the lighting system, the radio, the parking sensors, etc etc.

Now, with driver-less cars becoming closer to reality, engineering is even removing the drivers role from the car! Interestingly some of the technology for that is being developed here in the University in Galway!

Yep- a lot to do with cars..but you can also have a career that has nothing to do with cars.

My Dad is still disappointed that I can’t do anything practical to fix his car or stuff around the house….I prefer things to do with water!
