• Question: do you think one day youll be able to find a quare for cancer

      Hi Chloe,

      Interesting question (and one I’m not overly qualified to answer). You may be better asking a scientist.

      My understanding is that each type of cancer is different, and rather than creating one cure, a different cure may have to be developed for each type.

      Some types of cancers are now changing from fatal diseases (where you die) to chronic diseases (where you continue to live with the disease).

      You might have read that story in the week about the girl in the UK who was cured of leukaemia. This is a form of cancer, and it’s great to see cures emerging.

      I’d be hopeful that similar cures will be found for other types of cancer in the future. Maybe you or your classmates may be the ones to do it!
