  First step is to completely understand the question or problem the doctor has.
  
  Next come up with a couple of possible solutions.
  
  Then, pick the best one in terms of performance, cost, simplicity.
  
  Then build a prototype
  
  Next test it on a small number of patients to ensure it’s safe and it works.
  
  Then sell it and make millions! 🙂
